Registration
Be the first smile attendees see! You'll check in guests, distribute badges and materials, answer questions about the schedule and venue, and help attendees get oriented. You’ll also greet attendees at the doors, guiding people into the sessions, and making sure the noise level stays appropriate throughout the session. Perfect for organized, friendly people who set the tone for an incredible conference experience from the moment people arrive.

Speaker Liaisons
Be the friendly face our speakers see from arrival to stage! You'll greet speakers, guide them to green rooms, and ensure they have everything they need (water, badge, schedule). Perfect for people-persons and those who are seeking to network with festival industry leaders.

Sponsorship Relations
You’ll work with the Sponsorship Coordinator on booth setup, answer sponsor questions, facilitate connections between sponsors and attendees, and ensure sponsor activations run smoothly in our 2 exhibitor halls. Ideal for networking enthusiasts who want to learn about brand partnerships and gain exposure to the business side of festivals.

Operations
Get hands-on! You'll assist with setting up stages, arranging furniture, hanging signage, managing equipment, and breaking down at the end of each day. Great for those who like physical work, problem-solving on the fly, and seeing the behind-the-scenes logistics that make events happen.

Stage Management
Keep sessions running like clockwork! You'll work with the MC to set up the stage in between sessions, manage session timing, coordinate speaker transitions, and ensure panels start and end on schedule. Perfect for detail-oriented multitaskers who thrive under pressure and love being at the center of the action.

On-Site Event Management
Make FestForums' signature moments unforgettable! You'll help coordinate our special on-site experiences like PuppiesPalooza (yes, real puppies!) during lunch, speed networking sessions, and other unique activations throughout the conference. You'll assist with setup, manage event flow, work directly with sponsors to ensure their activations run smoothly, troubleshoot any issues, and keep attendees happy and engaged. Perfect for energetic problem-solvers who love creating memorable experiences and want hands-on event coordination experience in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Off-Site Event Management
Help create unforgettable experiences at our special events after the main conference panels including our Awards Ceremony, afterparty/concert, and evening receptions at SOhO and other venues around Santa Barbara. You'll assist with greeting guests, venue flow, and ensuring everything runs smoothly outside the main conference space. Great for those who love events, want variety in their volunteer experience, and for those who can’t make it during the day at the conference or want to stay longer!

Photographer/Videographer
Capture the magic of FestForums through your lens! You'll document keynote sessions, candid networking moments, sponsor activations, special events like PuppiesPalooza, and all the energy that makes our conference unforgettable. Your photos and videos will be used across our social media, website, and promotional materials. Perfect for visual storytellers who want to build their portfolio while gaining access to industry leaders and behind-the-scenes moments. Please note: You must have your own camera equipment and basic editing skills.
