Amaya Javier Fernandez is a promoter, producer, talent buyer, and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in the global music and live entertainment industry. Over the course of his career, he has produced hundreds of shows across five continents — the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean.
Early Career
Fernandez began his career at one of the largest concert promotion companies in Latin America, where he served as Executive Assistant. In this role, he managed complex touring contracts, artist bookings, and logistics for major international acts performing throughout South America, working with legendary artists including KISS, Iron Maiden, Phil Collins, Bon Jovi, Sepultura, Megadeth, Steve Vai, Al Di Meola, Santana, Soda Stereo, Def Leppard, Erasure, and many others.
Founding a.c.i
In 1998, Fernandez founded artistas creativos international llc (a.c.i), an independent entertainment company specializing in international touring, concert promotion, artist representation, talent buying, and live-event production. Under his leadership, a.c.i has produced hundreds of shows across Latin America, North America, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean.

He has also collaborated with Aterciopelados, Illya Kuriaki, Gustavo Cerati, and many others.
Governments & Festivals
a.c.i also serves as a talent buyer for multiple municipal governments, booking high-profile acts for civic and festival events. A notable example is the Palmares Festival in Costa Rica, where a.c.i has presented internationally recognized artists including Don Omar, Elvis Crespo, Sharam, and Roger Sanchez, among others.
Artist Development
Fernandez played a key role in the management of the pioneering Colombian band Aterciopelados, contributing to the group's international expansion and helping secure their first Grammy nominations and subsequent multiple Grammy Award wins.
United Independent Promoters (UIP)
Today, Fernandez is one of the founders of United Independent Promoters (UIP), an organization created to strengthen independent artists, promoters, producers, and entertainment entrepreneurs by combining their offers, opportunities, and industry relationships. UIP aligns with a growing global movement in which artists are asserting greater control over their careers, tours, and professional lives — seeking more freedom and opportunity outside traditional industry structures.
