Nancy Kennedy

Director of Sponsorship and Development, Sonoma International Film Festival

Nancy joined the Sonoma International Film Festival in January of 2021. She is involved in securing funding for the non-profit film arts organization through all contributed income opportunities: Sponsorship, Grants, Underwriting, Individual Giving, and Special Events. Bringing back long-time supporters and reaching new sources of support has been the challenge.

Nancy spent the last 30+ years working in Partnerships, and a variety of other roles, during her tenure at the Seattle International Film Festival, securing millions of dollars of support and partnerships during her time with the organization. “SIFF was relatively small when I started and huge when I left.”

Covid cut her position at Seattle, and she decided it was time for Wine Country and more fun with a Festival that’s slogan is: “The Best In Film, Food, Wine and Fun.” It doesn’t get better than that! Nancy was recently joined in Sonoma by former Seattle Artistic Director, Carl Spence. We are going to create magic here in Sonoma – join us!
