Jill Robinson
CEO of TRG Arts
Jill S. Robinson is a globally respected leader in arts and culture, known for helping organizations turn strategic insight into lasting resilience. As CEO of TRG Arts, she has spent more than 30 years helping leaders use data and insight to strengthen audience relationships, increase resilience, and adapt to changing consumer expectations.
Under her leadership, TRG has expanded internationally and built the sector's largest arts consumer dataset: the Arts & Culture Benchmark. Her work has helped more than 1,200 organizations across the UK, US, Canada, Australia, and Europe strengthen audience engagement and financial resilience. From Aspen Music Festival and School and Stratford Festival to American Shakespeare Center and Chichester Festival Theatre, TRG has helped cultural organizations better understand audience behavior, build loyalty, and create more resilient business models in a rapidly changing cultural landscape.
Jill is a trusted voice in the evolving conversation about what it takes to sustain arts and culture organizations today. She brings both candor and optimism to complex challenges, helping leaders see not just what's changing—but what's possible.
A passionate educator and advocate for sector sustainability, Jill sits on the Board of Directors of the Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP) and the Advisory Board for SMU DataArts. She has also taught as an adjunct professor in the Master of Arts Administration/Master of Business Administration program at Southern Methodist University and was an inaugural faculty member for the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity's Cultural Leadership Program.
At the heart of her work is a belief that audience loyalty is earned, not assumed—and that organizations thrive when they combine bold ambition with a deep understanding of the people they serve.
