Ron Dorfman
Founder and CEO of Skywell
Ron is the founder and CEO of Skywell, a Santa Monica based tech company that has developed innovative technology that produces clean, pure, fresh drinking water from nothing more than AIR. No pipes, no chemicals, no plastics and no delivery trucks. In addition to creating a very innovative alternative to how people can now access their drinking water, Skywell has also developed a cloud - based sustainability reporting platform that calculates and reports (in real time) the sustainability metrics (ie plastic bottles saved, Air Water produced and the pounds of CO2 reduced) associated with the use of the Skywell equipment ( think: a “Sustainability Scoreboard” ) whether that be in a home, office, business/school campus or event application.
Ron also is a founding director of Reach-Out Worldwide (ROWW), a non profit charitable foundation that provides rapid response disaster relief and humanitarian assistance, including the deployment of doctors, nurses, fire fighters, medical supplies, food and water, to those in need in the immediate aftermath of natural disasters throughout the world.
Additionally, Ron was a founding member of the International Safe Drinking Water Alliance (isDwa), a non-profit foundation created by the Dean of the Graduate School of Sustainability at UC Davis and the Graduate School of Environment at the University of Beijing to create and implement global policies and strategies to increase access to safe drinking water throughout the world.
Prior to founding Skywell, Ron was a practicing attorney in Los Angeles for over 30 years. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UCLA, and received his law degree from UCLA School of Law.
