Kat Cody is a freelance event, production, and artist relations leader with 9+ years of experience delivering large-scale music festivals, concerts, and experiential events across North America. She is the Founder of Jungle Lab Agency, an event production agency launched in 2021 to provide high-level operational leadership, artist relations strategy, and production support for live and digital events. Kat is known for calm, decisive leadership in high-pressure environments and for managing complex, high-stakes productions that prioritize artist experience, fan safety, and operational excellence.
Through Jungle Lab Agency and her freelance work, Kat specializes in festival and concert operations, artist relations strategy, production coordination, and live event decision management. She regularly serves as an operational lead for multi-stage festivals, stadium and arena concerts, and artist-led events—overseeing advancing, logistics, staffing, budgets, and real-time show-day execution. Her leadership spans cross-functional teams across production, security, transportation, hospitality, access control, and site operations. She is deeply committed to fostering healthy, respectful working environments for crew and believes strong productions are built on care, clear communication, and sustainable leadership.
Kat has held key leadership roles at major festivals and events, including Operations Manager for the Outdoor Theatre Stage at Coachella and Artist Relations Manager & Production Coordinator for Ohana Music Festival. She has also served as Artist Relations & BOH Director for Kilby Block Party and Red West Fest, Event Manager for Orville Peck’s Rodeo, and a trusted freelance Production Coordinator, supporting high-profile events and stadium-level productions with Live Nation, Goldenvoice, AEG, C3 Presents, Insomniac, Her Universe, artist teams, and more. Whenever possible, Kat works to integrate philanthropic initiatives and meaningful engagement with local communities into the events she produces.
Since 2020, Kat has operated as a full-time freelancer and agency founder, following earlier full time roles with Vans Warped Tour, Live Nation, Danny Wimmer Presents, and the Kevin Lyman Group. She continues to produce in-person and digital events while remaining deeply committed to building organized, artist-centered, and fan-forward experiences—and to mentoring the next generation of event professionals through leadership, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
