Robert Adams

Santa Barbara Film Columnist and Founder of Earthknower Studios

Robert F. Adams is a Santa Barbara film columnist and is the founder of an environmental planning firm, Earthknower Studios. He is a graduate of UCLA's School of Theatre and Film. Robert's film festival expertise includes programming for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and the Aspen Film Festival. He has moderated film events at festivals including SBIFF, Aspen, the Green Film Series at the Marjorie Luke Theatre as well as for the NatureTrack Film Festival in Santa Barbara County this past October. He also is a professional actor and has recently appeared in featured roles at Opera Santa Barbara. He has served as the Chair of the Arts Advisory Committee for the City of Santa Barbara as well as being a film festival outreach coordinator for independent documentaries. A practicing artist, his work has been shown at the Contemporary Arts Forum in Santa Barbara, the Aspen Art Museum and the Architectural Foundation Gallery.
