Nancy Kennedy

Director of Development, Sonoma International Film Festival

Nancy Kennedy joined the Sonoma International Film Festival (SIFF) in January 2021, bringing  with her over three decades of expertise in fundraising, sponsorship development, and strategic  partnerships within the film festival industry. In her role as Director of Development, Nancy  oversees all contributed income opportunities for the non-profit arts organization, including  sponsorships, grants, underwriting, individual giving, and special events.

Prior to SIFF, Nancy spent more than 30 years with the Seattle International Film Festival, where  she played a pivotal role in securing millions of dollars in support, cultivating long-term  corporate partnerships, and enhancing the festival’s reputation as one of the leading cultural  events in the country.

In 2020, the pandemic inspired a move to California’s Wine Country, where Nancy has  embraced the opportunity to combine her professional skills with the vibrant culture of Sonoma.  At SIFF—proudly known for “The Best in Film, Food, Wine and Fun”—she continues to  champion the arts, foster community engagement, and create meaningful connections between  sponsors, audiences, and the festival experience.
