Tanner Smith

Tanner Smith is the director of talent and festival development for Atlanta-based Sixthman, which creates themed cruise and festival experiences for bands, brands and their fans. He manages the planning and implementation of full cruise ship charters hosting artists such as KISS, Train, Chris Jericho, Outlaw Country on SiriusXM, Dude Perfect, Joe Bonamassa, 311, along with Cayamo and The Rock Boat festivals. He is also an adjunct professor at Joel A. Katz Music and Entertainment Business program at Kennesaw State University.

Previously, he held the position of director of programming and production for ASO Presents, the promoter wing of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO). He was responsible for the management and operation of Chastain Park Amphitheater, the ASO’s POPS series, Atlanta Symphony Hall and Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. During his nine years at these venues, he worked with artists such as The Eagles, Tom Petty, Steve Martin and Brian Wilson.
