Joe Litvag
Joe Litvag currently serves as the Founder and President of The Just Listen Company, a boutique firm focused on the unique field of live events and entertainment. Mr. Litvag delivers expertise and results, based on over 28 years of in-depth experience in select highly specialized areas such as festivals (creation/development/execution), live event venues (strategy/booking/operations), and private or corporate events (development/booking/execution).
Throughout his career, he has created or co-created 14 festival brands, developed 9 live music venues, produced more than 250 special events, and promoted literally thousands of concerts from stadiums & arenas to clubs & theaters nationwide.
Most recently, Mr. Litvag served as President of Live Events for Los Angeles based Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP). His responsibilities included the oversight of the company’s growing presence in the live event sector along with daily company operations. DWP’s significant portfolio of business features several renowned music festivals, and in addition Mr. Litvag steered DWP’s expansion into new sectors of live entertainment such as national touring and production, venue booking and operations, concert and festival services and special destination events.
Prior to his role at DWP, Mr. Litvag served as President at New York based Blackbird Presents, a specialized company focused on producing celebratory live events for industry legends such as BB King, The Band featuring Robbie Robertson and The Outlaw Music Tour featuring Willie Nelson.
Before Blackbird Presents, he spent more than 15 years in Saint Louis MO as Senior Vice President at AEG Presents. There, Mr. Litvag was responsible for many venue acquisitions, the creation and development more than ten incredibly successful festivals and he promoted and produced thousands of concerts for hundreds of artists, including some of entertainment’s legends like Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Metallica, Tool, AC/DC, Foo Fighters, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Tony Bennett and many others.
Mr. Litvag began his career in Saint Louis MO in 1993 at Contemporary Productions, where he worked his way through the independent promoter ranks to become Vice President of Concerts within eight years, producing and promoting concerts from clubs to amphitheaters and arenas. Upon the sale of the company to SFX Entertainment and eventually Clear Channel Entertainment (now Live Nation Entertainment), he became the leader of the St. Louis office before celebrating his ten-year anniversary with the company. Mr. Litvag earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas where he majored in Business Communication. He currently resides in St. Louis with his wife and two sons. He enjoys playing ice hockey, and he is actively involved in local and national fundraising efforts for various autism awareness causes.
