Gail Kvistad

Gail Kvistad Hosts and Produces "Living Local" TV show airing since 2010 and now on Youtube. Gail is an avid world traveler and festival lover who has never met a stranger. She has attended festivals all over the United States and the globe including; Australia, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and is always ready for her next adventure.

Gail is a true “California Girl” she radiates optimism and fun, her flair for production, talent for direction and thirst for adventure serve her well in the fields of entertainment, travel and production. As a Light Worker she excels cultivating spirit, collaboration and creativity and delights in raising energy levels and consciousness.

Growing up enjoying the great outdoors and plethora of ocean and mountain sports available Gail learned early on respect for the environment and the importance of conservation, stewardship and sustainability. These values are reflected in her career and the diverse variety of media and non-profit projects for clients including PBS “Building Green”, NAT GEO “Today”, NBC, Starwood Hotels, Hilton, Marriott, State of CA Dept. of Education and many others. Gail started her career hosting and producing documentaries after a stint teaching English for Rotary of Japan. She thrived opening new territories and learning about diverse and delicate eco-systems in the Caribbean for Rodale Press SCUBADIVING Magazine where Gail also utilized her Spanish skills and promoted the environment through the Caribbean Travel and Tourism Awards. She produced travel videos and web content in an emerging new field as Multimedia Manager for ISLANDS Media and Resorts and Great Hotels that led to her “dream job’ hosting a travel and adventure TV and Web Series always with a keen eye on the environment and focus on education.

As segment producer for the National Geographic “Today" show Gail cultivated her interest in nature and sustainability, she worked in Mexico and extensively in the Yucatan and Tulum at the turn of the 21st century which has had a lasting impact and serves as inspiration and influence for her non-profit work. The “Mexico Festival” is a project in development to bring awareness to the environment, plastic pollution and threats to the fresh water cenotes and Tulum's Sian Ka’an Biosphere.

As a director, host and producer Gail choses projects in alignment with her life purpose chosen at age 18 “To entertain, stimulate and motivate people to be the best they can be”. Eternally optimistic Gail strives to participate in projects that have a positive impact on the universe and humanity.
