Chesley has worked with talented artists from all around the world . Her first music video Aesop Rock’s “Fast Cars” was nominated for three MTV Woodie Awards in 2005, aired at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood and Anthem in London. She worked as a Producer for post and VFX on over a hundred commercials, music videos and films like Hostel: Part II and BRATZ. She Line Produced “Don’t Feel Right” music video for The Roots and “This Feeling” music video for popular Italian singer DJ Jad for Sony/BMG and the cult comedy feature film, “Team Extreme” for Fox/Fuel TV, which premiered at X- Dance at Sundance 2006, a series of commercials for J. Walter Thompson Chicago “Thermasilk” and short films for Mandate Pictures (Juno, Finding Neverland). Her independent produced feature film, “The Woods Have Eyes” was released on Blu-Ray by Echo Bridge. As Producer, Chesley’s Nike commercial entitled “Goal” for the World Cup Soccer 2006 games was an Official Honoree for both Telly and Webby Awards. She co-wrote the feature film screenplay “Vijj” with director-actor Robert Englund based on a novel by the Russian author Nikolai Gogol.
She also adapted the screenplays including, “I Want To Be A Soldier” which was filmed in Spain with Danny Glover and Robert Englund, won the Rome International Film Festival 2010 Kid’s Choice Award. In 2011, Chesley founded the Louisiana International Film Festival & Mentorship Program (LIFF), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that serves as a live event platform for filmmakers, musicians, visual artists and innovators with a year-round Film Society, annual signature Film Festival with over 50+ films screening along side industry workshops, panels and special events. LIFF also hosted industry events at Tribeca, Toronto International Film Festival, the American Film Market and Sundance Film Festival. LIFF has hosted notable guests such as, Renee Zellweger, Vincent D’Onofrio, Christy Turlington, Princess Shaw, Kelsey Grammar, Maro Fiore and others to thousands of attendees. Now, she is directing a timely documentary film about “the illness of a thousand names” and its relationship to ‘COVID Long Haulers’ called MOVIE ABOUT M.E.
