Tim began his career through internships at UMG, Production Club and Live Nation, assisting in event, festival, and tour activations. He later moved on to run box offices at iconic venues and parties throughout Los Angeles before running day-to-day operations as the House Manager of The Regent Theater in DTLA. Currently a Festival Director at Goldenvoice/AEG, he now oversees the planning, organizing, and execution of large-scale festivals. Prior to becoming a Director, Tim gained experience from other festival departments including Global Partnerships, Ticketing Operations, and Public Safety. His portfolio includes Porter Robinson’s Second Sky in Oakland, Head in the Clouds in LA and NY, and Portola in San Francisco.
In addition to his leadership role, Tim actively shares his expertise with young professionals, having developed a reputation as an industry mentor who guides newcomers through the complexities of live events and festival management. He also serves as a mentor at The Asian American Collective which focuses on building a strong community base through professional development and building personal 1:1 relationships.
