Shelleylyn Brandler began her career in the music and live event industry as a runner and production assistant for Goldenvoice’s punk shows in Los Angeles during the 1990s. In 1995, she joined Kevin Lyman’s groundbreaking Warped Tour as the box office and press coordinator. While traveling the country with the tour, Shelleylyn noticed a glaring need for high-quality, nutritious backstage catering. At the time, artists, athletes, and production crews were met with subpar food options that failed to meet their needs.
Motivated to fill this void, Shelleylyn launched her own catering company in 1999 and approached Kevin Lyman for the opportunity to cater the Warped Tour. That same year, she catered her first tour, serving headliners like Ice-T, Blink-182, Black Eyed Peas, Eminem, Dr. Dre, and countless other iconic artists. Her success on the Warped Tour soon caught the attention of Coachella’s promoters, who sought her expertise. Kevin Lyman famously vouched for her, saying, “If Shelleylyn can handle the Warped Tour, she can handle anything.” Since 2006, Shelleylyn has been the go-to caterer for Coachella, a role she continues to hold with pride.
For 20 years, Shelleylyn toured the world, catering backstage for some of the biggest artists in the music industry. Her experience includes Taylor Swift’s Red Tour and Katy Perry’s Prismatic Tour, among many others, where she set a gold standard for tour catering.
Beyond festivals and touring, Shelleylyn established herself in Los Angeles, becoming the house caterer for premier venues like the Intuit Dome, Hollywood Bowl, The Forum, and the Greek Theatre.
With over 25 years of experience, Shelleylyn Brandler remains a trailblazer in the industry, combining her passion for food with her deep understanding of the entertainment world.
