"Notes of a Citizen: The Marcus Raskin Story” is Eden’s feature directorial and producing debut. Formerly, in the nonprofit arena, Eden produced, directed and wrote promotional video shorts and news reports. Eden managed creative and high impact campaigns for issue campaigns and a trade association, showcasing her ability to connect with audiences and garner support for meaningful causes. Before entering the world of filmmaking, Eden served as an investigator with the Public Defender Service. This transformative experience has not only informed but fortified her storytelling approach, infusing her work with a rare blend of inquiry, justice, and authenticity. Her narratives echo the voices often unheard, bringing to light stories that demand attention. Eden Raskin Jenkins is a product of Washington, DC, having grown up in the heart of the city's progressive political circles.
