Andy Levine has carved a unique path in the music and hospitality industry, marked by innovation, empathy, and a deep commitment to community building. While attending the University of Florida, Levine’s journey began by joining a band and promoting local concerts until he was honored with the opportunity to manage the band, Sister Hazel. In this role, he nurtured a deep connection between the band and their fans, which inspired Levine and Sister Hazel to organize a cruise for 400 fans in 2001. After experiencing the power of shared experience amongst a community of music lovers united by their passion, Levine formed Sixthman and partnered with Sister Hazel to create the first annual Rock Boat, hosting over 1800 guests on a fully chartered cruise ship.

Sixthman pioneered the music festival at sea, which caught the attention of Norwegian Cruise Lines leading to its acquisition in 2012. Levine stepped down as CEO in 2016 and began dedicating his time to mentoring social entrepreneurs and walking alongside families experiencing generational poverty. In 2019, Levine founded Topeka, inspired by a scene in the movie “Almost Famous”, which offered virtual experiences between artists and fans. This venture, marked by its focus on employing minorities, was able to bring hundreds of artists and fans together for virtual “serenades” and “hangouts” prior to and during the pandemic.  While quarantining in Miramar Beach, FL, during 2020, Levine identified a location to host a land-based destination music vacation. More than just a vacation, Moon Crush is a new experience where guests rent a home or condo just a short walk to the beach and the venue. It’s designed as a retreat where music, relaxation, and community converge. Today, Topeka continues to mature the Moon Crush music vacations and has established partnership collaborations with Brandi Carlile, The Tedeschi Trucks Band and Lauren Daigle to craft specialized music vacations for their fans.
