David Hazan

David Hazan is a veteran music and entertainment executive with over 30 years of experience operating at the intersection of music, media, events, and technology. He has built a career driving revenue growth and brand development for a wide range of clients, from emerging tech startups to established global media companies.
His background in music marketing includes senior leadership roles at MIDEM, The Orchard, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, VH1/MTV Networks, Putumayo, and Wind-up Records.
David has worked with an extensive roster of clients, including SPIN Magazine, Tipalti, SoundExchange, Trusted Advisor, AudioShake, Bandzoogle, found.ee, GigSalad, CID Entertainment, AEG, Cirque Éloize, Ottawa Bluesfest, TVT, and Shout! Factory among dozens of others.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at experiential marketing agencies US Concepts/MKTG and EMCI/Rockbill, where he ran their London office in the 90s
A respected voice in the industry, David has curated and moderated panels at leading conferences such as NIVA, Music Biz, Wallifornia, Music Tectonics, Cool Out, SXSW, FestForums, MIDEM, MU:CON, and Canadian Music Week, where he also produced the Live Music Awards and the CMW and O’Cannabiz Hackathons.
David lives in Nyack, New York. When not traveling to industry events he enjoys playing drums and attending as many live music events as possible.
