Vinnie Ferra
Co-Founder & CEO of The Beehive LA
Vinnie Ferra is a seasoned live entertainment and touring executive with a mission to make touring more seamless for artists and their crews. In 2016, he co-founded The Beehive, alongside Jonny Stiegler, to simplify the transition from rehearsing to performing live music for everyone, from developing acts to global superstars. Today, the LA-based company operates as a year-round community for its “bees” – tour managers, musical directors, lighting directors, audio engineers, playback techs, among other crew members. Working closely with artists, management teams, and labels across all genres, The Beehive specializes in translating artists’ creative vision from the studio into unforgettable live experiences. Their capabilities for clients span from hiring a band to reproduction and arranging, creative production, playback programming, vocal production, and tour logistics. The Beehive takes pride in bringing the best people together to create an amazing show.
The collective also operates as both a studio space and creative hub, fostering collaboration among producers, session musicians, and performers. With tailoring tour strategies, meticulous attention to detail, and a focus on building cohesive collaboration within teams, The Beehive has established themselves as the go-to, community-first space for clients. Artists range from independent creatives to cultural powerhouses such as Halsey, Gracie Abrams, Rosé of BLACKPINK, Lizzy McAlpine, Gryffin, Masego, T-Pain, Bebe Rexha, blackbear, among others.
As a musician, Vinnie has played famed venues such as Madison Square Garden and Red Rocks with longtime Beehive client Halsey. He’s also spearheaded multiple Saturday Night Live performances as musical director for Halsey and Tour Director for Gracie Abrams. In addition to SNL, Vinnie often co-produces and arranges live versions of his clients' music, including Halsey’s “Gasoline (Reimagined)” and Gracie Abrams’ Vevo live sessions for “I Love You, I’m Sorry.” Gracie’s Vevo session quickly became the second-highest live recording debut in Spotify’s history and went viral on TikTok, further cementing the importance of live performance in artist development stories.
Vinnie has a passion for educating the next generation and helping others balance mental health on the road. When he’s not on a tour bus, he’s riding into the sunset on a motorcycle.
