Stephanie Seiple

Executive Director of Music Media Collective

In 2024, she founded the Music Media Collective, a nonprofit based in Los Angeles working to rebuild national music media/journalism through advocacy, fan-powered discovery, and programming.

Stephanie began her career in radio promotion and marketing at BMG and Sony Music Entertainment. From there, she traveled the US producing branded concerts and tours with Kings of Leon, Phoenix, and The Black Keys, later overseeing production for arena and festival shows with Eric Church, Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, and Rick Ross. At School of Rock, she ran operations as GM of the flagship location, growing enrollment through media partnerships and community outreach.

In 2009, she founded Tri State Indie (TSI), a creative agency and digital music outlet focused on brand partnerships, artist-first programming, and events. She scaled the music outlet to 800K monthly visits and led a team of 8 with 50+ contributors nationwide. She secured partnerships with Chevy, Vitaminwater, and Pabst Blue Ribbon, and directed coverage of local concerts to major festivals like SXSW, ACL, Lollapalooza, and Governors Ball. Working with Live Nation, AEG, and Bowery Presents, she led marketing and activation campaigns to drive ticket sales. She also produced Make Music Philly (352 citywide performances), music award shows, and city-led press conferences in partnership with arts councils, local government, and nonprofits.

Later, as Director of Promotion at Nashville-based Reviver Records, she secured media deals with iHeartMedia, Audacy, and Cumulus, resulting in #1 country hits for Tenille Arts and David Lee Murphy (with Kenny Chesney) and appearances on TODAY, The Bachelor, and The Kelly Clarkson Show.

At Azimuth, she served as VP of Business Development and Communications, leading growth strategy and building partnerships with Warner Music, NBCUniversal, Comcast, SESAC, PBS, Exactuals, and NextGen TV.

She launched Asses in Seats during the pandemic, a live podcast mixing the energy of sports talk radio, featuring live calls with fans and interviews with artists and entertainment professionals, while raising donations in real-time for MusiCares® ($4500 to date).

Stephanie served on the Recording Academy board for over a decade, co-chaired committees, mediated panel discussions, and led advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill. She also served as one of 13 industry leaders elected to the City of Philadelphia’s Music Industry Task Force, analyzing the city’s music economy, developing policy and community action plans, and testifying before City Council. She’s also a GRAMMY U mentor and has guest lectured at universities including Dartmouth, Drexel, Rowan, and Temple.
