Jesse Gibson is an event operations specialist focused on volunteer coordination and sustainability. Since 2018, he has worked in admin and operational roles, and in 2020, he founded Shift Happens Volunteers, leading work exchange programs for 50+ events spanning 4 countries. He also specializes in sustainable event planning, conducting Burning Man’s greenhouse gas emissions inventory and leading participant-driven sustainability initiatives such as the BLAST green theme camp certification and best practices tool-kit.
