Media executive and business leader with 30 years of experience at the intersection of digital media, content/creators, and the outdoor industry. As a CEO, founder, and operator, I have built and scaled agencies, brands, high-performance teams, and operations, delivering measurable results across digital platforms, experiential events, and emerging trends and technologies like the creator economy and Web3 respectively. I bring deep expertise in the active lifestyle space, digital media, the creator economy, executive-level finance, fundraising, audience engagement, and strategic marketing to every initiative.
Currently serving as a CXO at Outside Interactive, Inc., I focus on driving the future of outdoor media through groundbreaking experiential events under our event platform: Outside Days. Our goal is to Get Everyone Outside to experience the wonder, joy and awe of being alongside community while experiencing music, film, new ideas and food. Some our specific initiatives include a Summit for the outdoor industry, our Denver-baed summer music and experiential festival for outdoor enthusiast and the winter Warren Miller Film Tour. In my current role at Outside, I have the privilege of leading outdoor culture by gathering the outside community at scale.
My track record includes personally securing over $40 million in advertising and sponsorships, for leading high-growth teams to achieve operational excellence and market leadership. Along the way, I have been a business manager and digital consultant to many of the most well-known adventure and active lifestyle icons of our era.
As an entrepreneur, I founded Inkwell (2013) and ROAM (2017). Both were acquired by Outside Interactive, Inc. in 2021.
Before these ventures, I was on the founding teams of multiple companies and organizations, including FREESKIER magazine (Storm Mountain Publishing), the Association of Freeskiing Professionals, and CreativeLive. These experiences have honed my expertise in leadership, team building, fundraising, content strategy, creator marketing and sales and financial operations.
With a forward-thinking vision and a relentless drive for impact, I am passionate about building the future of media, fostering meaningful audience connections, and driving sustainable growth in the active lifestyle space on a foundation of values that have guided my entire career.
